There are so many wonderful Restaurants in Key West that it’s sometimes difficult to choose which one to dine at. Key West actually has some of the finest top-notch Restaurants in the Nation! You can enjoy the freshest seafood straight out of the Gulf of Mexico as well as “Authentic” Island Caribbean and Cuban cuisines that will make your mouth water. Many award-winning chefs have made Key West their home to hatch their culinary delights upon the masses. I have compiled a list of eateries in Key West that is sure to please just about anybody, so simply… enjoy!
915 (nine one five) 915 Duval St (305-296-0669)
915 is a fabulous upscale, tapas-style restaurant and wine bar serving American/Mediterranean fare in a gorgeous 1850’s circa Victorian style mansion with wrap-around porches, overlooking world famous Duval street. Here you’ll find some dishes that you might not recognize, such as their “Devils on Horseback” or their signature dish, “Tuna Dome”, but you can be sure it will be an incredible food experience. They have a wonderful international wine list and you can dine indoors or outdoors. The staff at 915 is tremendous and will surely make you feel at home. They offer catering and take-out and are open Monday through Thursday from 6pm till 11:30pm and on the weekends from 6pm till midnight. Reservations are recommended.

Located on Simonton street, Abbondanza Italian Restaurant is one of the top Italian restaurants in Key West and for years has been voted the “People’s Choice” awards winner fir Italian restaurants in Key West. They offer a full liquor bar, a fabulous menu, a great wine selection and their staff are quite friendly and accommodating. They are open 7 days a week from 5pm till 10:30pm and can accommodate parties of any size in one of four different, cozy dining areas. The service is outstanding and the portions are generous in this family-friendly atmosphere that is true Key West.
Alonzo’s Oyster Bar (upstairs) 700 Front St (305-294-5880)
Alonzo’s Oyster Bar is located in the Key West Bight at the Historic Seaport overlooking the harbor and offers a casual, upscale waterfront dining experience and the largest selection of warm water and cold water oysters in Key West. They offer a full liquor bar and fabulous happy hour daily from 4pm till 6:30pm. They are open 7 days a week from 11am till 11pm. Alonzo’s offers indoor and outdoor seating and has an extensive menu serving lunch and dinner. Alonzo’s is located on the ground floor of the A&B Lobster house and is part of the Southernmost restaurant group which includes A&B, Half Shell Raw Bar and Turtle Kraals to name a few and boasts some of the freshest seafood anywhere.

The A&B Lobster House, along with Berlin’s Cigar and Cocktail Bar, is located upstairs from Alonzo’s Oyster Bar and offers a fine dining experience unlike many others in Key West. Maine and Florida lobsters highlight the extensive menu prepared by top notch chefs. A&B has a wonderful wrap-around balcony where you can enjoy fine dining and the breathtaking views of the traffic in the harbor or you can dine in elegance indoors. A&B is open 7 days a week from 6pm till 10pm and you do not need reservations, although they do accept them. They offer a full liquor bar as well as a cigar bar for those of you so inclined. As you might imagine, the fine dining experience could set you back a few dollars, as is the case with any fine dining establishment.

Welcome to the world of the square taco. That’s right, finally a taco you can eat, not wear. Chef Manta servers up seven different varieties of tacos as well as burritos, quesadillas and fajitas with specially made sauces and salsas that are to die for and are served with real Mexican Coca Cola made with pure cane sugar, not corn syrup.They also offer the freshest tortillas you’ll find anywhere, made with no preservatives or trans fat and 100 percent natural and authentic. For those of you not into taco fare, they offer a “Gringo” menu consisting of traditional favorites such as BBQ chicken sandwich or Philly cheese steak sandwiches. Everything on the menu is vegetarian until you add meat! Amigos also serves up one of the best margaritas on the Island to go along with a good selection of draft and bottled beers, wine and sangria. Don’t forget dessert. Amigos is open Monday through Saturday from 9am till midnight and on Sundays from 10am till midnight and are located right in the heart of Historic Old Town at the crossroads of Greene and Duval streets. They are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. At Amigos, you can enjoy a casual, Key West atmosphere, seating indoors and outdoors, a full bar, great service by all the staff, and take-out and delivery service as well. It’s also a great place to people watch.
Ambrosia Japanese Restaurant 1401 Simonton St (305-293-0304)
Ambrosia Japanese Restaurant is simply one of the best spots on the Island to enjoy sushi in an upscale atmosphere,and a perfect place to celebrate a special event like a birthday or anniversary. Reservations are recommended. They offer a full bar, extensive menu and the sashimi comes over a bowl of smoking dry ice… very cool. They are open 7 days a week with lunch beginning at 11:30am till 2pm and dinner from 6pm till 10pm. The dress is casual and Ambrosia offers take-out, and is available for private parties and special events. They are located on Simonton street between the Atlantic Ocean and South street.
Ana’s Cuban Cafe 1222 White St (305-296-4707)
Ana’s Cuban Cafe is another one of those Key West gems located on White street that serves breakfast and lunch at affordable prices and with that special hospitality that seems to permeate this gorgeous Island paradise. They serve Cuban and American fare with a smile. They offer a walk up window and outdoor seating on picnic tables. Ana is always in house and always goes the extra mile when it comes to service. The menu is diverse, the food is fabulous and the portions are quite hearty. Ana does it all here and I recommend it highly.
Angelina’s Pizzeria 208 Duval St (305-296-3600)
Angelina’s Pizzeria is a NY style shop located in the busiest part of Duval street, next door to Rick’s Entertainment complex, serving a variety of hand tossed pizza by the slice or whole pie, as well as calzones, subs, salads, draft beer and other menu items. They offer some indoor seating and some tables outside the store in the alleyway along Duval street. They are open 7 days a week till around 2am or so.
Antonia’s 615 Duval St (305-294-6565)
Antonia’s is an elegant, upscale restaurant offering regional Italian and Mediterranean cuisines made from the freshest ingredients and everything, including their pasta, is homemade and made to order prepared by the finest Euro-trained chefs in the business. They boast an extensive menu and offer a full cocktail bar with an fabulous selection of Italian and American wines. Upstairs at Antonia’s offers a full service private dining room with full alcohol bar which can service up to fifty guests and is available for private functions and the catering of your special event. Contact the restaurant for more details. Antonia’s will also cater your event at your home or wherever you wish. You can book a reservation in person or online for your convenience. Antonia’s is open for lunch and dinner 7 days a week from 11:30am till 10:30pm. The staff are friendly and personable and will make you feel right at home while you’re enjoying your romantic dining experience.

Azur Restaurant offers a truly incredible and unique dining experience serving up some one of a kind Mediterranean dishes prepared by world renowned chefs Michael Mosi, and Drew Wenzel, who bring decades of knowledge and expertise to the forefront. Azur is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and offers customers the choice of indoor and outdoor seating. They are located in the Historic Seaport District, away from the frantic foot traffic of Duval street, but close enough to where it’s only a short walk or drive from mainstream happenings of the Island. Breakfast is served Monday through Friday from 8am till 11am and on Saturday from 9am till 11am. Lunch is served Monday through Friday from 11am till 3pm and dinner is served 7 days a week from 6pm till 10pm, with a Sunday brunch offered from 9am till 3pm.
Bad Boy Burrito 1220 ½ Simonton St (305-292-2697)
Bad Boy Burritos is your one stop shop for fresh, organic, homemade tacos, gourmet style burritos, smoothies and teas on the entire Island, available mostly for takeout as well as delivery. They do offer very limited eat-in space but be prepared to eat somewhere else. They accept cash only and they do offer a catering service. the service is super friendly and the portions and prices are right.
Bagatelle 115 Duval St (305-296-6609)
With a fabulous location, extensive menu, great service and the freshest locally caught seafood and fresh produce, it’s no wonder why Bagatelle is one of the most frequented restaurants on the Island. They offer a menu that combines the best of the French, Caribbean and Florida Keys cuisine in an upscale, but casual atmosphere. They serve breakfast all day long and the wrap around porches provide customers with a fabulous outdoor dining experience overlooking Duval street. They offer a full bar and have one of the largest wine and martini lists anywhere in town. They are open 7 days a week for brunch and dinner. Brunch runs from 9am till 4pm with dinner running from 5pm till 10pm. They have a great happy hour daily from 5pm till 7pm with half priced drinks and appetizers and a late night happy hour from 10 pm till midnight featuring fresh Maine lobster. Bagatelle does accept reservations and offers indoor seating as well and is available for private functions. This, combined with the architecture of this gorgeous two-story circa 1840’s historic property, to go along with their friendly service, make Bagatelle one of the best choices to enjoy a meal and some cocktails that Key West has to offer.
Banana Café 1215 Duval St (305-294-7227)
Banana Cafe is a wonderful French cafe located on the quieter end of Duval street serving breakfast, lunch and dinner 7 days a week. Breakfast and lunch are served daily from 8am till 3pm and dinner from 6pm till 10pm. Dinner hours differ in summer and winter so it’s best to call for further details. Still owned and operated by the original founders, Banana Cafe offers customers a full bar and choice of indoor and outdoor dining. Dining on the front porch overlooking Duval street brings the full ambiance of Key West into view in a casual, family friendly atmosphere. The staff at Banana Cafe are warm and welcoming and there’s surely a French dish on the menu that will please the most discriminating palate. Reservations for dinner only are accepted online or by phone and they even offer a cookbook for purchase so you don’t have to be in Key West to enjoy their fabulous French cuisine.

Berlin’s Cigar and Cocktail Bar is located on the second floor of the A&B Lobster House at the end of Front street directly in front of the A&B Marina, and is the perfect place to stop in after a meal at the A&B and enjoy a cigar or cocktail. Berlin’s offers a casual, relaxed atmosphere and boasts a fully stocked, top-shelf liquor bar and an amazing selection of cigars of all sizes for men and women that will impress any cigar aficionado. Relax in comfort on one of many cozy leather couches and chairs, while you peruse the breathtaking views of the harbor. Berlin’s is open 7 days a week from 5:30pm till midnight and is a great place to get away from the noise and crowds of Duval street, sip on one of many specialty martinis, cognacs or after dinner drinks, and enjoy the peace and serenity that this classy waterfront establishment provides.

Better than Sex is an upscale dessert restaurant located at the corners of Truman Ave and Simonton streets. It’s not just your average dessert bar though. This very intimate setting with tickle your senses with decadent flair that includes items such as; Kinky Key Lime and Fork You Fondue, to name a couple. The drink menu is quite interesting as well with drinks called Kelly’s Klimax and Caramel Over Me to name a couple. You get the idea. It’s definitely a cozy, adult themed operation that’s fun for couples. They’ve got a great beer, wine and dessert list here and are open 7 days a week from 6pm till midnight. Indulge yourself!!

Blackfin Bistro is a quaint little restaurant on Duval street, near Truman Ave, that serves up culinary dishes in a variety of styles and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner 7 days a week from 11am till 11pm. The atmosphere is classy, yet very casual. The staff at Blackfin are very nice and will treat you with great respect and with warm hospitality. “BB” specializes in seafood and steak and offer seating indoors and outdoors. They serve only beer and wine. They offer wines by the glass and bottle as well as a selection of domestic and imported beers. They offer a lovely little outdoor patio out back in a quiet, relaxed setting, are available for takeout, is perfect for groups and also accept reservations. The prices are very reasonable and has become quite popular with the locals and tourists alike.

Blue Heaven is, hands down, one of the best restaurants on the Island to enjoy Breakfast, Lunch, or Dinner indoors or outside. They also offer catering and banquet service as well. Blue Heaven is open Monday thru Saturday from 8am till 10:30pm and Sunday from 9am till 10:30pm. They are located just a little off the beaten path, a few blocks south of Duval St. at the corners of Petronia and Thomas Streets. The ambiance of the entire property is breathtaking. The jungle-like courtyard features gorgeous Spanish Lime trees that cascade down over the entire property. You’ll find Red Roosters and “Ginger” the friendly cat roaming the grounds from time to time. There’s a cool water tower located
directly over the fully-stocked outdoor bar, as well as a stage for live music from some of Key West’s premier local musicians. You’ll also find one of Key West’s top local artists in the rear part of the courtyard selling some of his wonderful creations. There’s also a little kitty cat graveyard memorial in honor of some of the prior feline inhabitants of the property.
The breakfast here is simply off the charts. You have to try one of their omelettes and don’t forget to add their banana bread baked fresh daily from the Blue Heaven Bakery which is also located on the property. The service is excellent and the portions are quite plentiful. Don’t forget to stop into the gift shop on your way out. Paula will take great care of all your needs there and she is an absolute joy to talk to. Being a native of Massachusetts myself, it was wonderful to find that she is also a native of Cambridge, Mass. We look forward to seeing her again very soon. Blue Heaven definitely fits the bill of one of the places one must visit while you’re in Key West. Sorry to report the loss of beloved Ginger, the kitty cat. Our condolences.

BO’s Fish Wagon has long been a Key West icon, but you wouldn’t know it based on appearances from the outside. All that matters is what’s being served up inside this fun little roadside hut, which is a fabulous array of seafood sandwich cuisine that you must experience for yourself at least once during your visit to Key West! BO’s simply has one of the best fresh fish sandwiches on the Island, served on fresh-baked Cuban bread and a delicious home made Key Lime sauce. They offer a variety of fish and chicken sandwiches as well as burgers, hot dogs and fried foods, to go along with a selection of entrees, appetizers, salads and beverages which ice cold include beer, wine and soft drinks.
They are open 7 days a week from 11am till 9pm and accept cash only. No credit cards! BO’s is located at the corners of Caroline and William streets across the parking lot from the Waterfront Market in the Historic Seaport area. They offer a covered outdoor seating area in a cozy, yet very casual atmosphere and is a great little place to enjoy a quick meal at a budget-friendly price, on your way to or from the Historic Seaport.

The Cafe is a great little place in Key West to enjoy one of the tastiest vegetarian menus in town. The setting is dim, but kind of funky and romantic, they offer a variety of seating options, and the staff are very friendly. The menu consists of everything from soup to sandwiches and from pizza and pasta to some of the freshest seafood you’ll find anywhere in the Keys. They also serve beer and wine. It’s not just for vegetarians though. They are open 7 days a week Monday through Saturday from 11am till 10pm and on Sundays from Noon till 9pm. They offer a relaxed and casual atmosphere and are open for lunch and dinner. The Cafe is good for larger groups and will even deliver your meal to you. It;s a true diamond in the rough in Historic Key West.

The food is excellent and the prices are very reasonable. Caroline’s offers a full liquor bar and is a great place to stop in for a cool drink and people watch along world-famous Duval St. This establishment is amazingly well managed by our pal Rob and the service here is fabulous. Take-out and free delivery are also available. Caroline’s is open at 11am daily for your dining or drinking pleasure.

The Conch Republic Seafood Company is a gorgeous open-air restaurant located in the Historic Seaport and Key West Marina and offers a breathtaking waterfront dining experience along with live entertainment daily from local musicians performing a mix of Caribbean and Island style music. CRSC also boasts one of the best happy hours in Key West daily from 4 till 7pm and proudly features one of the largest bars in South Florida and offers patrons a cornucopia of selections of the finest rums and specialty drinks Key West can muster up! The menu is quite expansive and features a mix of Caribbean style dishes, including the best locally caught seafood as well as Black Angus steaks and various other mouthwatering entree options.They are open till around 9:30pm 7 days a week and the bar about a half hour later at 10:00pm.
The Conch Republic Seafood Company is available for private parties and special events, offers an online store and weather you stop in for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the Conch Republic Seafood Company is a must-do and offers the perfect waterfront location for a great meal or cool refreshing libation anytime you’re in Key West.

If you love country music, Cowboy Bill’s is the place for you. It is the Southernmost country bar in the USA! There’s actually 3 bars located in this huge entertainment complex. At the Angela St entrance, there is an open-air bar/restaurant serving Mexican food via a variety of appetizers, sandwiches and entrees. If live music is your bag, Cowboy Bill’s offers up some of the best touring country bands in the nation, outdoors in a huge courtyard with a full bar. If that’s not enough, they have one of, if not the only mechanical bull to ride in all of the Keys. It’s a blast just watching people try to hang on for dear life. You can ride the bull Tuesdays thru Saturdays from 10pm till 2am and there’s a “sexy” bull riding competition every Wednesday at 11:00pm with a 100 dollar first prize! There’s also a expansive covered dance floor if you want to bust a move. This back bar is open till 4am!
Cowboy Bill’s also offers an air-conditioned sports bar which is located in the complex along Duval St with over 24 TV’s as well as pool tables, darts, and a variety of electronic and board games to play. Cowboy Bill’s is open 7 days a week from 11am till 4am and offers great happy hour specials Monday thru Friday from 4pm till 7pm. PBR’s only a buck every day till 10pm! There’s always something fun happening here 7 days a week. So stop by and check it out.

If you happen to be arriving or departing on the “Key West Express” you’ll find Dante’s Pool Bar and Restaurant extremely inviting. It’s located right next door to the ferry terminal. What a great way to start off or end your stay in paradise! They have a huge saline pool with a cascading waterfall surrounded by tiki bars and they offer beverage service poolside! Dante’s also serves up a full menu that will make your mouth water. From appetizers to the freshest “catch of the day”, including a raw bar and kid’s menu, there is surely something to please your palate. They’re open 7 days a week from 11am till 10pm and have a great happy hour Monday thru Friday 4pm till 8pm. While we were there at the end of May, “John” was our server. He did an awesome job for us! Ask for him and maybe you’ll get to hear about the Hollywood movie script he’s writing. They also have live bands, DJ’s spinning tunes 7 days a week and sporting events on 17 TV’s. Try the frozen Pina Colada. Delicious!

Fogarty’s is without a doubt my favorite restaurant in Key West They offer a full menu that will make your mouth water and portions that will ensure that you don’t go home hungry!! The Crusted Chicken Romano is to die for and the Broccolini are my two favorite dishes on the menu. The atmosphere is very casual at Fogarty’s and they offer your choice of indoor and outdoor seating. They also offer 2 outdoor bars, one of which is called “Flying Monkey Saloon”. The staff at Fogarty’s are friendly and the service is fantastic. Fogarty’s is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and is conveniently located at the corners of Duval and Caroline streets in a gorgeous old Victorian mansion. You also can’t find a better value for the money than Fogarty’s, a “Certificate of Excellence” award winner 2013 by Trip Advisor!! Fogarty’s is open 7 days a week from 11am till 2am.

Half Shell Raw Bar offers customers a full liquor bar and seafood restaurant with a premium waterfront location in the heart of the Historic Seaport on the Key West Bight. Half Shell is open Monday through Saturday from 11am till 10pm and on Sundays from Noon 10pm for breakfast, lunch and dinner and offer a casual, laid back atmosphere. They have a great happy hour daily from 4:30 till 6:30pm. The raw oysters are fabulous and add in a frosty cool drink along with their location on the waterfront and I can guarantee you’ll be back for more.

This marvelous old three-story Victorian style house built by William Curry for his son Robert, contains more rock and roll memorabilia than you can shake a stick at. Hard Rock Cafe is located right in the heart of Historic Old Town on Duval Street and houses two full liquor bars, one inside and one located outside on the patio. Established here in 1996, this world famous bar and restaurant is a great place to stop into for a frosty margarita on a hot day or simply have a relaxing breakfast, lunch or dinner inside or outside, while you peruse the crowds along Duval Street. Hard Rock is open 7 days a week from 11am till around midnight, offers an extensive menu and friendly service in a casual, laid back atmosphere. They also offer priority seating, can host your private party or special event, and of course, has a fully-stocked rock gift shop with everything from t-shirts to jewelry to you name it. If you’ve never been there before, it’s worth checking out.

Hog’s Breath Saloon is famous for it’s great live music, raw bar and relaxed casual atmosphere. The bar is open from 10am till 2am and the kitchen is open from 11am till 11pm… midnight on weekends. Happy hour is from 5 till 7 pm daily and they have a really cool live webcam if you can’t quite make it out to the Hog. They offer indoor and outdoor seating and have a private room available for your wedding or other special event, party or corporate function. Hog’s Breath offers two full liquor bars and an extensive beer and cocktail menu as well as a fantastic food menu. Don’t forget to stop into the ‘Hog Shop’ next door to pick up a world famous “Hog” tee or tank-top. Hog’s Breath is a really laid back bar and a great place to have lunch, dinner, or some frosty drinks, or just hang out after sunset or any time of the day or night while you kick back and enjoy some of Key West’s finest local and national, live entertainment on stage. Around here they always say… “Hog’s Breath is better than no breath at all”.

Island Dogs Bar is a great place to stop in for a cocktail and a bite to eat from their fabulous menu or maybe catch your favorite sporting event on one of many LCD flat screen TV’s. Off the beaten path, this casual, upscale bar and restaurant is open for lunch and dinner and offers patrons a choice of indoor and outdoor seating and a full liquor bar with a plentiful selection of draft and bottled beers. They offer a generous happy hour that runs from 3 till 6pm daily and great live music Thursday through Saturday. Island Dogs is open 7 days a week from 11am till 4am and serves up a full menu till 3am. They are located on Front street, a block up from Duval street, between Key West Bight and Mallory Square. They also have a retail store and are available for private parties. A great location and a fantastic, personable and friendly staff make Island Dogs a fun place to enjoy the come as you are, laid back Key West atmosphere at its best. The only place to get char grilled oysters!

Located in one of the most historic buildings in Key West, formerly the birthplace of Pan American Airlines, lies one of the great treasures of old Key West. Kelly’s Caribbean offers its patrons a full liquor bar as well as its own “Southernmost” micro- brewery right on the premises. They also offer a full menu specializing in seafood and Caribbean dishes and serve lunch and dinner 7 days a week from 11am till 10pm. They have seating available indoors and outdoors as well offering a choice of two beautiful garden courtyards. One of Key West’s best happy hours occurs here daily from 4pm till 7pm featuring 2 dollar micro-brews, 3.50 Margaritas and half priced wings. Owned by Hollywood star Kelly McGillis, this fabulous bar and restaurant is available for weddings and private parties, sells gift certificates and even has a gift store on the property. A great place to chill, live the history, and enjoy this romantic, tropical paradise. A “must do” for happy hour!

There are three bars located at the La Te Da Hotel. The “Terrace Bar” is located outside, along Duval street and is a fabulous place to enjoy a cold beer or frosty frozen drink as you peruse the masses as they stroll past this casual, yet elegant Key West property. The “By George” Piano Bar is a very upscale bar and offers nightly entertainment with Island music and classic blues and grand piano tunes and the room features original Picasso sketches. The “Crystal” Bar is where you can see live cabaret theater performances and perhaps mingle with some of the world-famous female impersonaters at their gorgeous marble bar. The Crystal room is also available for weddings, as well as private parties and corporate events. The bartenders and staff are very friendly and accommodating as well. The La Te Da also houses a fine, upscale restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner daily, and an elegant, upscale hotel, and is located toward the quieter, artsy end of Duval street.

Schooner Wharf Bar and Restaurant is most definitely one of our favorite spots on the Island, located in the historic Key West Bight at the end of William street. They offer up some of the freshest seafood in town and have 3 happy hours daily at their fully stocked, waterfront bar. Schooner Wharf is also home to some of the best live entertainment in town 7 days a week. This open-air gem boasts a breathtaking view of the harbor and is where you can find the “Official Flagship of the State of Florida”, The Schooner “Western Union” docked. Schooner Wharf also hosts some of the coolest events on the Island throughout the year including, the “Wrecker’s Cup Series”, Chili cook-off, Lighted Boat Parade and my personal favorite, the Minimal Regatta, which is a competition held over the Memorial Day Weekend where contestants build home-made vessels made out of minimal materials and race around the inner harbor. It’s one of the coolest and most fun events of the year and is worth checking out!
Schooner Wharf Bar and Restaurant is open 7 days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner from 8am till 4am. If you can’t make it out to Schooner Wharf, they have a great live webcam so you can never miss out on what’s going on there. They offer an extensive catering menu for your private party or special event, offer gift certificates and have a store on-site for your souvenir needs. Schooner Wharf Bar and Restaurant offers its patrons a casual, relaxed atmosphere and is truly one of the last little slices of “old” Key West.

Sloppy Joe’s is a Key West tradition. They’ve been around literally for generations. They first opened their doors in 1933 and then moved into the present location in 1937. Sloppy Joe’s is open 365 days a year from 9am till 4 am (noon till 4am Sundays) and has some of the best live entertainment you’ll find on the Island. They offer a full bar including a variety of tropical frozen drinks and over 16 domestic and imported bottled beers. If you are in need of a bite to eat their extensive menu will surely satisfy your palate with everything from appitizers and sandwiches to seafood, salads and dessert. If you need to pick up a souvenir, Sloppy Joe’s has great gift shop with everything from gift cards and t-shirts to golf balls and hats. If you can’t make it out to Sloppy Joe’s in person, they have a live-streaming webcam of the bar, the stage and Duval St that really makes you feel like you’re there! It’s a really fun, casual place to hang out and have a great time. There’s also a long history dating back to 1933 that you probably find most interesting. Check it out for yourself and see why Sloppy Joe’s is one of the most popular bars in Key West.

Smokin Tuna Saloon is one of the hottest new establishments in all of Key West. Both a raw bar and a fabulous restaurant, Smokin Tuna Saloon plays host daily to some of the best live music Key West has to offer. This hidden gem is only steps away from Duval street in the heart of Old Town and is a great place to stop in for some drinks and a bite to eat. This expansive bar and restaurant is home to the Key West Songwriters Festival, which occurs May 1st through the 5th. They offer a raw bar, a fabulous menu, and happy hour daily from 5 till 7pm. The Smokin Tuna bar is open 7 days a week from 10am till 2am and the restaurant is open from 11am till 10pm. They are available for private parties and special event bookings, has a store for your souvenir needs and if you can’t make it out to the Tuna, they have a great live webcam so you don’t miss any of the fun.

They also have a great juke box and the service and staff are friendly and happy to have you. It’s off the beaten path but is a fun place to have a cold beer and some fabulous chicken wings. Turtle Kraals offers inside and outside seating and a very friendly and attentive staff that will take great care of you. They also have a turtle museum located on the property that you can visit and learn about the turtle industry which flourished in Key West in the mid 1840’s. It’s free and well worth the time.
