Key West weather is one of the many things that attract visitors to this tropical paradise. Key West is in an official “Frost-Free” zone, never having a recorded low temperature below 41 Degrees Fahrenheit. On average, January is the coolest month of the year and August is the warmest month. August and September are the rainiest months. In Winter the average temperature in Key West is between 75 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit. Because the Florida Keys are in the subtropical zone in the Western Hemisphere, close to the Gulf Stream, the average climate rarely differs more than 10 degrees between Summer and Winter.
