For those of you lucky enough to be in Key West over the upcoming weekend, I highly recommend stopping into the Green Parrot to check out the Spam All-Stars, out of the Miami area, who are one of the hottest bands you’ll see anywhere on the planet and who always bring the crowd to its feet. Spam All-Stars will be performing at the “Parrot” for two shows beginning Friday February 22nd at 5:30pm for “Sound Check” and a late night show at 10:00pm, and on Saturday the 23rd for a 10:00pm show. Their eclectic style of hip-hop, funk, and Latin fused music is the driving force that has the crowd dancing in the aisles night after night and the musicianship of the band is unparalleled, in my opinion. They have five independent record releases including the Latin Grammy nominated “Fuacata Live” released in 2002, as well as four others featuring the band. This 10 piece group never fails to amaze the audience with their special brand of music and you too will see why you should know that the Green Parrot continuously offers the best live music anywhere in the Florida Keys.
